La Plaza Esperanza
IDEAL PDX artists donated the Frida Kahlo Mural to La Plaza Esperanza, which will be public in March 2025. To complement this mural, 8 more pieces were added to the interior artwork made by artists from IDEAL PDX: William Hernandez, Daniel Santollo, Mariel del Rincon, Yathzi Turcot.
Curated and under the creative direction of Jessica Lagunas.
IDEAL PDX proudly hosted a captivating series of 10 workshops, uniting community members in the creation of five fine art masterpieces that reflect shared stories and cultural vibrancy. Additionally, three eco-inspired workshops invited participants of all ages to explore sustainable arts and crafts, transforming eco-friendly materials into imaginative works of art. Together, these experiences celebrated artistic collaboration, environmental consciousness, and the boundless creativity of our community.
Artists José González, Mariel del Rincon, William Hernandez, Daniel Santollo and Romina del Castillo participated in the creative process under the creative direction of Jessica Lagunas, transforming collective knowledge and inspiration into powerful works of art that highlight the urgent need for sustainable action.
